Responding to the needs of the time, the American Society for Quality (ASQ) has come forward to develop a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) programme with a broad-based well thought out curriculum. This programme has been appreciated by industries and organizations the world over to gain insight into the systematic methodology that is focused on achieving very significant financial benefits (sometimes incredible!) with minimal investment.

• Duration : 80 Sessions (75 minutes) during December 2008 - January 2009
• Eligibility : Engineering/ Management/ Science Graduate with some working experience

• Course Fee : Rs.40,000.00 (exclusive of Examination Fee of (approximately) Rs. 18,000.00 and Centre Charge of Rs. 1,500.00 payable to ASQ and IAPQR respectively) (To be paid through Demand Draft/Cheque on any Kolkata Branch)

Major components of the programme:

Module – I
• Classroom lectures
• Demonstration of softwares
• Use of statistical softwares

Module – II
• Project work to be supervised and attested on completion by a recognized Champion

Module – III
• Examination with examination papers set and forwarded by the ASQ and held under the supervision of a proctor recognized by ASQ
* Necessary guidance and advice for project work to be provided
* A mock-test will be organized.

Registration
Registration for the preparatory course on payment of the registration fee, should be completed by November 29, 2008, cheque/DD drawn in favour of Indian Association for Productivity, Quality & Reliability.
