IAPQR announces the following preparatory programme for Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Programme of ASQ.

• The programme will be organized during July-August, 2009 at its Salt Lake premises at AD-276, Sector-I, Salt Lake City, (Near Tank No. 4) Kolkata-700 064.

• Classes will be held from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. only on Sundays (July 5, 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 9, 16, 23).

• There will be 5 classes of 75 minutes’ duration each day, with breaks for tea and working lunch. Thus there will be altogether 40 classes, which will cover most of the Body of Knowledge (syllabus) including guidance for project work.

• There will be a Mock Test also.

• Course fee will be Rs.20,000.00 (Rupees twenty thousand only) per participant. This will include cost of some course materials, tea and working lunch.

• This does not include examination fee (of US $ 335) payable directly to ASQ, and Centre Fee of Rs.1,500.00 payable to IAPQR.

• Candidates desirous of enrolling for the above preparatory course must register by 20 June, 2009 along with the course fee.

• The next date (after 6 June, 2009) of the ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Examination is 5 December, 2009.

• It may also be noted that on completing the above preparatory programme, one may alternatively sit for the Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Examination conducted by IAPQR on more or less the same syllabus. In that case the certificate will be issued by IAPQR only, and the examination fee is Rs.5,000.00 (Rupees five thousand) only. There will be no Centre Fee in this case.
