We regret to inform that Dr. Joseph M. Juran, Father of Modern Quality Management breathed his last on February 28, 2008 at Rye , New York , at the age of 103.
A memorial meeting will be organized by the IAPQR in collaboration with Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation on Friday, 25th April,2008 at 3 p.m. at the HRD Centre, C.E.S.C., P-18, Taratala Road , Kolkata-700 088. Sri Santanu Bhattacharya (Executive Director-Materials, CESC), Prof. S.P.Mukherjee (President, IAPQR), Sri Aloke Mookherjea (Former President, BCCI), Prof. R.J. Pandey(Formerly of ISI) and Sri S. P. Mukherjee (Retd.MD, Biecco Lawrie Ltd.) will be among the likely speakers.
All Quality practitioners and members of IAPQR are requested to attend the memorial meeting to pay tribute to this illustrious Quality Guru.
