Indian Association for Productivity, Quality and Reliability, established in 1973 with the primary objective of building up necessary human resource in Quality personnel of Indian Industry, has since its inception been engaged in the pursuit, propagation and promotion of concepts, methods and practices to enhance productivity in manufacturing and services organisations through practice of Quality and Reliability.

Visibility and activities of the Association are gradually expanding throughout the country with its Orissa Chapter at Dhenkanal and Madras Chapter at Chennai.
